The Secret Garden Doncaster Wedding Photographer for Anna & Alistair. This Bride & Groom had a lovely wedding. They opted for only a couple of hours photography.  They had the wedding ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Tickhill and the reception at The Secret Garden Gringley-on-the-Hill.

Bridal Prep

The day started with the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready at the family home. My favourite quote was when Anna’s dad saw her in the dress he said she looked like a beautiful pencil!? Excellent…This sticks in my head. For many people they expect a dramatic father of he bride reaction. Sometimes it just doesn’t happen that way. Most often dads are pretty chilled. 

Wedding Venue

The Secret Garden is located in the picturesque village of Gringley-on-the-Hill in Doncaster. An exquisite Grade II listed building set in a secluded area. With seven acres of beautiful gardens and a large courtyard. In the gardens you will find five individual areas all with a unique character and a story to tell, and with breathtaking and uninterrupted south facing views.

The majority of what we capture will be candid moments you’ll cherish forever. But we think its important to have some stylish portraiture too. We will take you aside for a few minutes and create some portraits of the two of you together. It will be relaxed, spontaneous and quick so you can get back to your guests and enjoy your day.
